You Can Spell 8

You Can Spell Book 8 continues the emphasis on the skills required for spelling mastery while introducing words that even adults have difficulty spelling correctly, together with more advanced vocabulary activities. The vocabulary lists have been revised to incorporate new words that have entered the everyday vocabulary of New Zealanders and remove those words which, in only a decade, have become virtually obsolete. A humorous cast of characters encourages the children to enjoy the process of remembering and retaining spelling. Book 8 takes a students spelling competence to 3700 words and prepares the student to learn to spell the subject-specific vocabulary found in Now You Can Spell.
